I'm doing this with my 10 year-old daughter, and we love it! I highly recommend it. We'll cherish this time forever. I'd use it with her age and older, but because of some of the (excellent) purity discussions, I wouldn't use this with my younger daughters yet. I wish I could buy a case of these and give them to all my friends!
Don't just teach and preach...make memories
Donna Miller's delightful book is a gift to both mother and daughter. There are spaces beneath Scripture readings where both mom and daughter can inscribe their thoughts. Christian moms now have a valuable reference to use as a teaching tool that shares the beauty of God's word without being overly preachy, and girls will make wonderful memories as well as valuable moral lessons to take with them into adulthood. This book would make a wonderful gift to any teen and especially new moms. highly recommend

Growing Little Women is a great tool for Christian moms to use with their daughters. The best age to use this book is for girls from nine to twelve. The author gives practical insight as to how she mentored her two daughters. There are sixteen practical chapters, each taking a subject that allows mom and daughter to openly discuss. There are also fun activities at the end of each chapter. Chapter 16 allows moms to write their own story for their daughter. This is a great tool to allow moms to impart their lives and beliefs.
