 Quick Easy Reference
I like the fact that Come On Dad provides basic, simple ideas and suggestions. And it's not really just for Dad's, any parent, baby-sitters, and even older brothers and sisters can use this as a quick, easy reference tool!
Since Father's Day is fast approaching and my son is a relatively brand new Dad I thought this would maybe help. My grandson was born and 2 weeks later his father was sent to Iraq for 18 months... now my son is home, his son is almost 2, and now he finally has the opportunity to be a father and get to know his son.
The only suggestion I can make is to wish the author had divided the activities into age approriate groups.
Just wholesome, quick, simple ideas - no offense guys but just accept all the help you are offered!!!
Fun Stuff for Dads and Their Suns
I got this book from the library for my husband who works and doesn't get to spend as much time as I do with our two-ear old. This book is cool because lots of books out there are geared to moms and kids and this one is just for dads. There's some interesting activities in here although I don't think that it's exclusive to dads and sons. Some of my favorites include the Rainy Day Read-A-Thon, the Shopping Alphabet grocery store ABC Game and the Paper Air Force. If you're a dad stuck for ideas on fun activities to do with your son, then this book gives you great ideas.
